It’s the path that is less explored in Gardens by the Bay. Perfect place if you are looking for a quiet getaway in the city. Nearest MRT is TEL Gardens by the Bay station.

The latest segment of the Gardens By The Bay area, it is actually a pretty small area but with unique features that are not present at other parts of the garden, namely the waterfall and unique shelter.

🪷A scenic water body located near Satay by the Bay. 🪷On one end of the Pond, is a Wildlife Lookout which has a leaf-shaped roof shelter to let visitors rest and take in the sights. 🪷The Lotus Pond and nearby Kingfisher Lake were initially two separate water bodies which are linked up by two flowing streams. Together with a man-made cascading waterfall, the whole Wetlands form a closed water circulation system enriching its water quality and enhancing its rich aquatic ecology. 🪷Come explore this serene water body and enjoy its tranquility.

A small but pleasant man-made Kingfisher Wetlands Wildlife reserve. Bring binoculars or zoom lens to spot birds.

Very nicely designed park. But the buzzing generator coming from the nearby Satay Club humming at 100 dB noise level sounded like incoming Kamikaze Drones - hardly any bird will come near. Too stressful. Perhaps someone has to reduce the noise pollution coming from the Satay Club.

Instead of the usual hike from Stadium MRT Station to Marina Bay Sands (via Tanjong Rhu Suspension Bridge, Bay East Garden, and then Marina Barrage Dam), I planned for the following unconventional route: …
