花园狂想曲 Garden Rhapsody is still the free 15-minute light show at 擎天树林 Supertree Grove, 7.45pm and 8.45pm every night. Opera in the Gardens, the October programme, ends Friday 31 October 2026. Garden Waltz takes both slots from 1 to 28 November. The Christmas Special is listed from 29 November 2026 to 1 January 2027, with an asterisk on the official page that dates can move.
What is actually playing
The Gardens calendar is the source, not a blog roundup. October is opera, the Romantic-era set they also ran in March. November 1 to 28 is Garden Waltz, the same waltz stack they used in January. From 29 November the copy switches to Christmas classics with local singers. The Christmas block is the only 2026 row marked "dates subject to change." I would not lock a 1 January plan on that row without checking the page again in December.
Creative names on the same page, since 2015: lighting designer Adrian Tan and composer Bang Wenfu. The show itself is short. You stand. The trees do the work. If you came from Bayfront after dinner, the 7.45pm slot is the one that still leaves time to walk to Event Plaza for Spectra.

Admission to the outdoor gardens is free, 5am to 2am, and that includes the grove floor for Garden Rhapsody. The official page warns that a ticketed event such as Christmas Wonderland can put a charge on the grove. Christmas Wonderland is not on the 2026 Gardens calendar as of this week. Some third-party listings still float November dates. Treat those as unconfirmed until Gardens or the Wonderland site posts them.
OCBC Skyway and Supertree Observatory look down on the same trees and they are ticketed. They also close for a full day of maintenance each month. Observatory is shut 15 October, which is today, then 5 November and 10 December. Skyway is shut 4 November and 9 December. The 7.45pm show still runs on those dates from the grass. Do not buy a deck ticket for a closed day and do not buy one only because you thought the light show required it.
After 8.45pm on this bay
Spectra at Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza is the other free night show on the same walk. Sunday to Thursday it runs at 8pm and 9pm. Friday and Saturday add 10pm. About 15 minutes, about a 15-minute walk from the grove via Helix Bridge if you do not detour through The Shoppes. The useful loop on a November weekend is grove at 7.45, walk the promenade, Spectra at 9, then home. Boon Tat Street satay is the other direction, past Esplanade, not a Gardens dining option. Satay by the Bay on this waterfront closed 1 October.
Floral Fantasy, the ticketed hall by Bayfront, is closed 3 November and 1 December for maintenance. That does not touch Garden Rhapsody. It does wreck a plan that stacked Disney Garden of Wonder onto the same evening as the grove. Flower Dome and Cloud Forest each take one maintenance day a month and they do not close on the same date. Check the opening-hours page if your night also includes a conservatory.
